What fun, Lisa – a travelogue according to neat, old cars! You DID get around, didn’t you?! It’s such fun to still get your posts even though you are back in Michigan.
Lisa–when I went to East Germany in 1976, there were lots of cars I’d never seen before. The one that looks the closest to them is the green car from Krakow, only I don’t remember any particularly colorful cars once we crossed Checkpoint Charlie. In fact, it felt like the whole world behind the Iron Curtain was shades of blacks, whites, and greys to the 16-year-old that I was.
I wonder if there are still any of those behind-the-wall cars still in existence. I’d like to think they were painted nice bright colors, now.

Wow, Tammy, again with some great memories. I don’t remember seeing only brightly colored cars when I was in Poland, but there were many like this little green guy.
