What a great spontaneous trip! Did you go to the castle?
No time, in the end. I went for a walk along the cliffs and took a boat ride out in the harbor, and then it was early evening and time to go back to the city. I’ll have to go back–especially as Dover Castle is an English Heritage site, so I can use my membership card to avoid the fee.
