    • Yes, really if someone wanted a day trip from London to get an experience of a quaint English town, this place has it all — one of the most complete Norman keeps in the world, the second-oldest cathedral in Britain, and England’s largest second-hand bookshop! Plus several tea shops and pubs. It’s an hour on the train.
