Do you think the city workers who commissioned this trash can ever saw the movie Do the Right Thing? Because the irony of putting that phrase on the trash can (which set it all off) is killing me.

I completely agree. Looks like Mookie might not have been able to lift this one. But riddle me this, why did Mookie throw the can? Spike Lee said only white people ask that question. But I’ve given this movie to at least two blacks who had no answer. Why did Mookie cut his own financial throat?
